Acting Together is a new initiative to help support smaller amateur drama societies in villages in Bassetlaw and the surronding area.
It's an informal network that brings these already vibrant societies together with the aim of sharing ideas, resources and skills.
Acting Together encompasses hundreds of local drama enthusiasts. It's aim is to enable all of the societies to widen the scope of their productions, offering an even great range of entertainment than they already do to theatre goers across North Norttinghamshire, South Yorkshire and North West Lincolnshire.
The Drama Societies involved are Bawtry Players, Blyth Players, Haxey Players, The Youth Theatre Worksop, Gainsborough Players and Everton Village Players.
Other local societies are welcome to join us, just get in touch - please see our Contact Us page.
Acting Together members Bawtry Phoenix Theatre, The Old Nick Theatre, Gainsborough and Everton Village Players are currentlye working together on a joint production at the end of June.
Each society will present a one act play in each of their three locations
