Formed in 1979, we present three major productions a year, usually at half term time in February, May/June and October.
Our Productions have included Shakespeare (“A Mid-Summer Night’s Dream” to “The Scottish Play”), Pinter (“The Birthday Party”), classics such as “When we are Married” and “Hobson’s Choice”, thrillers (“Night Must Fall”) and comedies (Ladies' Day).
We also host cabaret productions by top professional artistes in association with Nottinghamshire Village Ventures.
In addition we organise play readings and theatre trips for our members and we write and present Murder Mystery Evenings.
Production time sees our Village Hall converted into a theatre with modern modular staging and raised seating supplied by local firm CPS.
Together with professional stage lighting and sound systems the transformation amazes newcomers to the audience.
We are managed by a committee, elected by members at our AGM, held in January each year. Committee meetings are usually held monthly and are open to all members to attend.
Please see Our People page for a list of current committee members and their contact details.
